About Me

I am Leonie and passionate about being on the road.

Whether traveling or at home - I love to be on the road on foot.

In 2019, I embarked on a year-long journey for the first time, which took me through seven countries in Southeast Asia and finally to New Zealand.

During this time, I also discovered multi-day hiking for myself, and in New Zealand I covered about 1,000 km on Te Araroa across the South Island.

About two years later followed a crossing of the Alps from Königssee to Venice.

In the fall of 2022, I quit my job once again and set out on a three-month journey through Africa.

My biggest hiking project to date is now planned for 2023 - crossing Europe from Sicily to the top of Norway on foot!
